Ok, so today I actually finished something! (I keep telling myself this house is going to be good for me) I finally finished painting my bathroom! MY first master bath in all of my married life, and I am loving it! I still have more that needs to be done, but all the walls and ceiling are done with paint, for now.... This is the finished color, I know it never looks the same on my camera as it does in real life, but you can get the general idea.
It took me awhile to finally decide on a color for my bathroom. I have some very pretty dark mahogany colored paneling on the bottom half, so I thought a blue would look nice with it. Well I tried several different colors of blue and just wasn't completely satisfied with any of them, so one day I found some greens, picked two out that I thought looked good, and purchased the testers. I wanted to have it painted last week before my hubby got home from a week long business trip, so time was of the essence! I finally found a color that I loved with this beautiful paneling, so I hurried up and got a gallon of it and got started. I don't think my hubby was that excited about it when he came home, so hopefully after it's all finished he will love it! And it turns out, that we have the exact same color of that green on our floor, and I didn't even realize it until I was done painting the first coat! haha!
So hopefully tomorrow I will be able to get more work done, (I've already started sanding our little medicine cabinet so I can repaint that also) but I don't know, I have a ton of other things to get done also! I need to get Talia's birthday cake or icing made, texture my kitchen, and prepare for a Thrive party! So much to do! But I do love it! I just want to make my home a comfortable place for not just my family, but for anyone who comes over!... I'll let ya know how that turns out! Wish me luck!
